Starz has announced eight additional actors in recurring roles for its upcoming Black rodeo drama series. The eight-episode family drama, produced by Breaking Bad executive producer Mark Johnson and showrunner Kirk A. Moore, is set in Southeast Texas where rodeo culture is central to the community. The series centres on three siblings navigating the legacy built by their mother and unfinished business left by their father, with alliances and relationships constantly in flux.

The series, infused with "hip hop swagger and country soul", features a diverse ensemble of established television actors. Their characters range from Tennessee, an ex-military businessman exploring questionable ventures, to LeRoi Louis, the siblings' beloved uncle harbouring dark secrets, and Rafael Morales, a hot-headed younger brother vying for control of the family business. The previously announced main cast includes DeWanda Wise, Shannon Wallace, and Tian Richards as the three Clarke siblings at the story's centre.
