Steve Hackett announces Best of Genesis and Solo Gems North American tour
Steve Hackett has announced a North American leg of his Best of Genesis and Solo Gems tour for 2027. The former Genesis guitarist says the show will combine well-known Genesis favourites with solo material, bringing the music to audiences across the eastern United States and Canada.
The tour runs from 10 April in Atlanta to 6 May in Québec, with 20 performances listed, including two-night stops in Collingswood and Ridgefield. Presales begin on 14 October and general ticket sales on Friday. Hackett is also scheduled to play Cruise to the Edge in 2027, and his 2012 album Genesis Revisited II is due for a vinyl reissue next month.

Genesis are a British rock band formed in the late 1960s, known for elaborate albums and songs that became concert favourites. Steve Hackett joined as guitarist in 1971 and played on several of the band’s best-known albums before leaving in 1977 to pursue a solo career.
Hackett has since released many solo records and performed music from both his own catalogue and Genesis. His Genesis Revisited projects revisit the band’s songs, while his solo material shows how his career developed after he left. The tour brings together these two parts of his musical history for audiences in the United States and Canada.
