Stranger Things fans think a game show and the weather channel are teasing something big for Stranger Things Day 2026

Stranger Things fans are speculating that Netflix may have something planned for Stranger Things Day on 6 November 2026, the first annual celebration since the series ended. The theories have revived “Conformity Gate”, a fan belief that the season five finale was a deception and a secret ninth episode would follow.

Fans point to “Stranger Things Have Happened” messages shared by The Weather Channel and US game show Wheel of Fortune, plus a Netflix Latin America billboard referring to “2026: Final Chapters”. Co-creator Ross Duffer also posted a teasing image, while Netflix has released a season five blooper reel; the article says an alternate finale seems unlikely, though bonus footage is possible.
