Chris Wilder has indicated that Sheffield United could look to re-sign defender Harry Souttar, while making clear that the club’s January recruitment plans are already being considered. The prospect matters because Souttar impressed during his previous loan spell at Bramall Lane, and Wilder is assessing which players can help improve a struggling side.

Wilder said a list of potential January targets had been prepared but stressed that current players still have time to prove their value.
