Take a closer look at Warframe’s Tau star chart and frame 67, the undying Brysko
Digital Extremes has previewed Warframe’s free Tau expansion, due in December, showing two locations in its separate star chart and revealing the abilities of Brysko, the game’s 67th Warframe. Tau matters as a long-awaited new system that continues the story of The Old Peace and adds new places and gameplay features.
Tau will begin with Perita, whose World Cedar Oasis serves as a starting hub, and the ring-city of Fornax, where falling from the map is fatal. Players must complete the Prologue to Tau to access the expansion; its exact release date is due in November. Ten Prime sets will be available permanently through Perita, while new Tau damage types can combine with Impact, Puncture and Slash. Brysko’s abilities include electric card attacks, a companion that groups enemies and a damage-over-time buff that adds life-steal to his ability damage.
