The pair play best friends navigating tensions over how to run a new women's football team, with Rebecca frequently rejecting Keeley's ambitious pitches, and the scene in question sees them make up after a falling-out sparked by Rebecca calling Keeley "naïve".

The actresses revealed that filming the emotional moment, which was set against a fireworks display and featured pink blankets and thermos mugs, required reshoots because both were distracted by real Diwali fireworks going off during the original shoot. Waddingham said the do-over ultimately let them refine the scene further, while both actresses also touched on other Season 4 storylines, including Keeley's use of colourful smoke effects for match openings and the prospect of romantic developments for both Keeley (with Roy Kent) and Rebecca this season.
