Thanks to South Park, Trump Finally Got His Emmy

Consequence · 42 minutes ago

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have won an Emmy for a season that mocked Donald Trump, delivering him the award he had long complained was unfairly withheld from him. At the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday night, the show took the Outstanding Animated Program prize for its 28th season, which depicted a president with a tiny penis who impregnates Satan. Parker and Stone marked the win by referencing Trump's years of grievance over The Apprentice never securing an Emmy nomination.

The pair released poster artwork of Trump holding the trophy, captioned "You finally got your Emmy!", poking fun at his past complaints. South Park's official account also posted a congratulatory message to the whole show's team over the win. Season 29 of South Park is set to premiere on 16th September.
