Beats has launched the 360, its first IP-certified over-ear headphones designed specifically for gym workouts and running, aimed at those who dislike earbuds. The headphones carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating suitable for workout environments, with removable knit ear cups that effectively wick away moisture during exercise.

The headphones feature swappable ear cups in two styles: performance knit for workouts and plush engineered leather for everyday use, with automatic sound tuning that adjusts based on which pads are installed. Extra cushion kits cost £50 (or £10 promotional pricing until end of October) and are available in multiple colours. The headphones perform well during most exercises like squats and lunges but may slip during high-intensity movements. Sound quality delivers supportive bass and clear highs, though the midrange lacks separation between instruments and vocals.
