The Celebrity Traitors finale – LIVE

Joanne was banished, Sharon was murdered in a deliberate act of chaos, and James Acaster left the game after a tense episode of The Celebrity Traitors. His departure has prompted debate over whether he was trying to protect Maya Jama or had not fully engaged with the game, while reports about his mental health have shifted attention to what may have happened off screen.

Sharon had made arguments similar to those for which Michael Sheen is being praised, but her more intense delivery may have worked against her. The article says the events behind the scenes may have been more traumatic for Acaster than the broadcast showed, and suggests his exit means he did not face the pressures of the final.
