‘The Day of the Jackal’ Meets ‘Money Heist’ in Apple TV’s New Crime Thriller Officially Coming This Fall

Collider ·

Apple TV has confirmed its new heist thriller "12 12 12" will premiere globally on 13 November 2026, blending the cat-and-mouse tension of "The Day of the Jackal" with the elaborate scheming of "Money Heist". The series follows a meticulously planned raid on a bank vault beneath Zurich, Switzerland, pitting a career criminal against a disgraced FBI agent determined to catch him before his best chance slips away.

Created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, the show stars Jamie Dornan as the American criminal masterminding the heist and Anthony Mackie as the agent pursuing him, with a supporting cast including Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis. Its title reflects three interwoven timelines: a year spent planning the heist, roughly half a day carrying it out, and twelve days covering the aftermath, during which the agent's odds of catching the culprit drop sharply. The first two episodes launch on 13 November 2026, with new instalments released weekly until 25 December 2026.
