‘The Five Star Weekend’ Creator Bekah Brunstetter Inks Overall Deal With Universal Global Television

Bekah Brunstetter has signed her first overall deal with Universal Global Television, following the renewal of her series *The Five Star Weekend* for a second season. She will develop and produce shows exclusively for the studio across various platforms, giving UGT a continuing partnership with the creator behind Peacock’s most watched scripted original to date.

Brunstetter is working on the new season of the Jennifer Garner series, adapted from Elin Hilderbrand’s bestseller; the first season also helped return the novel to the *New York Times* bestseller list. Her previous credits include *This Is Us*, *Maid* and *Sirens*, while her musical adaptation of *The Notebook* earned a 2024 Tony nomination.
