The Gnomes Unleash A Savage Psych-Garage EP

Australian garage-punk band The Gnomes have released their new EP, *With A Gnome*, produced by Dec Mehrtens, guitarist for Amyl and The Sniffers. The release follows the band’s UK shows at Brighton’s Great Escape earlier this year and marks a new step for their psych-infused sound.

The article describes the EP as riff-heavy, with strong lyrics and a pop sensibility. Singer Jay says the track “Batteries” was written while the band were staying at their managers’ studio as Amyl and The Sniffers rehearsed upstairs; The Gnomes are due to play London’s Shacklewell Arms on 11 November.
