The GTA VI ‘extended look’ is now streaming on YouTube
Rockstar has released an official extended preview of Grand Theft Auto VI on YouTube and its website after it first premiered on Netflix. The nearly 27-minute video matters because it provides the most detailed official look yet at the highly anticipated game, although it prioritises mood, characters and setting over a detailed explanation of gameplay systems.
The footage was captured entirely from the PlayStation 5 version and centres on protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, as well as the game’s locations. It includes brief glimpses of shootouts, police chases, basketball and scuba diving, while other preview coverage contains additional gameplay details not shown in the video. GTA VI is due to launch on 19 November, with prices starting at $79.99.
