‘The Heartstring Duet’ Book Series By Liv Zander Getting Film Treatment At Sony Pictures

Sony Pictures has acquired the film rights to Liv Zander’s bestselling dark fantasy romance series, The Heartstring Duet. The deal brings the story of a gravedigger’s daughter facing a deadly bargain to the screen, following the books’ rapid online popularity.

The series comprises Crown Me Dead and Crown Me Yours, which Zander self-published a week apart in April. Crown Me Dead reached No. 5 among Amazon eBooks, and the two books drew more than 100 million Kindle page reads worldwide in three and a half months. They have been translated into 14 languages, with US and UK publishing rights later secured by Hachette and HarperCollins imprints.
