The seven movies Ron Howard wants to be remembered for in 100 years: “I would like to see it in the time capsule”
Ron Howard has named seven screen and television works he would like future generations to discover in a time capsule, offering a personal snapshot of a career spanning roughly 70 years. His choices reflect both his early acting years and films he is proud of as a director.
The list includes an Andy Griffith episode, something from *Happy Days*, *The Courtship of Eddie’s Father*, *Apollo 13*, *Parenthood*, *Thirteen Lives* and *Eden*. He also mentioned *A Beautiful Mind* and *Rush* as two further possibilities; *A Beautiful Mind* won him two Academy Awards, while he sounded less certain about including *Eden*.
In short
- Howard suggested works from across his acting and directing career.
- His picks include *Apollo 13*, *Parenthood* and *Thirteen Lives*.
- He was tentative about adding *Eden* to the capsule.
