The Star of Netflix’s 8-Million View Sensation Officially Lands Her Next Big Role

Philippa Northeast, whose performance helped Netflix’s *My Brilliant Career* become a global hit, has joined the cast of the streamer’s upcoming series *Feral*. She will play Suzy, taking over from Quintessa Swindell, whose departure was reported without an explanation.

The seven-part comedy drama adapts Shirley Conran’s novel *Savages*. It follows four women who accompany their mining executive husbands to a tropical island, where the men’s shady business dealings put them in danger and force the women to work together to survive. The cast also includes Jessica Gunning, Michelle Dockery, Genevieve O’Reilly and Dolly de Leon; Emma Freeman will direct from a screenplay by Jude Mack.
