The trailer is currently screening before The Odyssey, with the article suggesting an edited version could also appear before Spider-Man: Brand New Day, subject to age-rating restrictions. Its promotional text frames the game around a global struggle for mutant survival, while Sony’s use of cinematic CG marketing follows similar campaigns for franchises including God of War and The Last of Us. The release is said to be roughly two months away, placing it in the holiday sales period.
