Tom Hanks’ Hit Mystery Thriller Officially Leaves Netflix November 1
Tom Hanks’ 2009 mystery thriller *Angels & Demons* is set to leave Netflix on 1 November. The film follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon as he and a scientist race through Rome to stop a threat to the Vatican.
Directed by Ron Howard, the film adapts Dan Brown’s novel, which was published before *The Da Vinci Code*, although its film adaptation came afterwards. The films continued with *Inferno* in 2016, skipping *The Lost Symbol*; Howard said its themes and puzzle-driven plot felt too similar to the earlier films.
