Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Update Adds Three New Features, Includes 60fps In Classic Graphics Mode

Nintendo Life · 2 hours ago

Aspyr has released a new community-focused update for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, adding three requested features across all platforms and delivering a substantial list of bug fixes, with particular attention paid to the Switch 2 version. The patch follows the developer's recent revival of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North and reflects ongoing support for the remastered trilogy, which launched on Switch in 2024 before receiving a Switch 2 release earlier this year.

The three new features are a brightness slider for adjusting level lighting, 60fps support in Classic Graphics Mode for smoother performance, and a pickup highlight that makes key items easier to spot in HD Graphics Mode. The update also fixes numerous issues, including clipping and collision bugs, UI glitches such as missing harpoon ammo counts, softlocks on Switch 2 involving the T-Rex and Highland Fling level, and various texture and enemy-spawn problems. The upgrade is free for existing owners of the game.
