Too Lost is a music company that helps artists and labels distribute recordings, manage publishing rights and develop music catalogues. Distribution gets music onto streaming services; publishing and catalogue businesses involve managing rights and income from songs over time.

A chief financial officer oversees a company’s finances and helps guide decisions about spending, investment and growth. James Rosenstock has held senior finance roles in technology and media, including work involving music mergers, catalogue purchases and international investment.

The appointment comes as Too Lost expands its business across countries and music services. Its recent large investment from GoldState Music and TA Associates provides context for the company’s plans to build its operations and consider acquisitions.
