Tristan Thompson Boards Jason Zada’s Bitcoin Creator Movie ‘Satoshi’ as Producer (EXCLUSIVE)

Tristan Thompson has joined “Satoshi”, a feature film about Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator, as a producer alongside Enderby Entertainment executives and other investors. Directed by Jason Zada, the film is planned to shoot in Riyadh and Los Angeles in spring 2027, as part of a multi-picture deal with Saudi Arabia’s Yellow Camel Studios.

The film will explore Bitcoin’s origins and the mystery surrounding Satoshi Nakamoto, though producer Brian D. Evans says its aim is to tell the story accurately rather than unmask the creator. It will use AI as a production tool, but a representative says it is otherwise a traditional production with location filming. Another film about Nakamoto, Doug Liman’s “Bitcoin”, is already in post-production and has drawn attention for its reported use of AI-created sets and lighting.
