A man was left in a critical condition after falling from a 12th-floor apartment block in Palma, Majorca, and landing on two people seated at a bar terrace. Both people struck were seriously injured, making the incident a major emergency in a busy public area.

The fall occurred shortly before 4pm near Barcelona Square. Reports said the man may have argued with his partner beforehand, though this was unconfirmed; he reportedly hit a tree before landing on a table, and paramedics gave him CPR before taking him to hospital.
