Tyra Banks To Produce Feature About The Invention Of The Sports Bra With Forbes Entertainment
Tyra Banks and Forbes Entertainment are developing a feature film about the invention of the sports bra, bringing the story of its creators to a wider audience. The project centres on how an everyday problem led to an innovation that helped women move more freely.
Set in late-1970s Vermont, the film will follow Lisa Lindahl, Polly Smith and Hinda Miller, who created the Jogbra, the first sports bra, launched in 1977. Britt Brewer is writing the screenplay; Banks will produce, executive produce and act, while the search for a director and cast is yet to begin.
