Ulster suffered a narrow 15-10 defeat by Connacht in the opening round of the Women's Interprovincial Championship, with second row Fiona Tuite saying her side "need to execute more" despite a spirited performance. Tuite praised her team's intensity, calling it one of Ulster's "feistiest" opening-game performances, while crediting Connacht's back play and try-scorer Anna McGann.
