Mike Milford, the long-time lead singer of the metalcore band Scars of Tomorrow, has died at the age of 46 following a battle with cancer. He fronted the band for more than two decades, during which time it released several albums, and he was also known as an artist manager and label executive within the heavy music scene.

Scars of Tomorrow confirmed his death in a tribute on social media, praising him as an incredible frontman and friend, while bandmate Bob Bradley separately paid tribute, describing him as a "music industry wizard" who had a huge impact on the heavy music and hardcore scene. Fans and fellow musicians have since shared messages of condolence, reflecting on his influence and legacy within the genre.
