Victoria Monét has announced her second studio album, *Frequency of Love*, due for release on 2 October via RCA Records. The follow-up to her 2023 debut *JAGUAR II* — which won the Grammy for best R&B album and saw Monét named best new artist, while its lead single "On My Mama" earned further nominations for record of the year and best R&B song — marks a significant next step for the singer-songwriter as she builds on that breakthrough success.

Alongside the announcement, Monét released a new single, "Reach Out," complete with a music video, following on from the earlier single "Let Me." She is currently touring Europe as part of Bruno Mars's Romantic Tour and is due to play Wembley Stadium in London. The R&B star, previously known for writing hits for Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez and Blackpink, recently signed with management agency Full Stop ahead of this new album era.

New here? Start with this

Victoria Monét is an American singer-songwriter who spent years writing hits for other artists, including Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Blackpink, before establishing herself as a performer in her own right. Her 2023 debut album, JAGUAR II, was a critical and commercial breakthrough, winning the Grammy for best R&B album and earning her the best new artist award, with further nominations for its single "On My Mama."

Frequency of Love is her follow-up album, and its announcement comes as she releases new music and performs live. She is currently on the road in Europe supporting Bruno Mars on his Romantic Tour, a run of dates that includes a show at Wembley Stadium in London.

This next release matters because it will show whether Monét can build on the acclaim of her debut and further cement her standing as a solo artist, having already proven herself as a hit-making songwriter for others.
