Demi Vollering won the final stage of the Tour de France Femmes to become the race's first-ever two-time champion. The Dutch FDJ-Suez rider had already seized the overall lead from Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney on the penultimate stage, and she confirmed her dominance on the closing day with a decisive solo attack near the summit of the last climb, which she then extended on the descent to seal victory.

The final stage covered 99.2km around Nice, including four ascents of the Col d'Eze and 2,100m of climbing. Vollering finished more than a minute clear of her rivals, taking her third stage win of this year's race and fifth overall, while former leader Marlen Reusser crashed out of contention on a descent. Vollering said she deliberately rode away alone to prove her team's win was down to merit rather than a contentious incident from the previous stage, and both she and runner-up Niewiadoma-Phinney extended their record of finishing on the podium at every edition of the race.
