W Sound, the music venture led by producer Ovy on the Drums and streamer WestCOL, has renewed and expanded its distribution partnership with Warner Music Latina, Billboard reported exclusively on 22 July. The deal builds on the project's success since launching in 2024, aiming to grow its reach into new markets and secure further international collaborations as it cements its role bridging streaming culture and mainstream Latin music.

Since debuting with "Soltera (W Sound 01)" featuring Blessd in 2024, the project has released nine sessions, working with artists including J Balvin, Ryan Castro, Beéle and Dei V. Highlights include "La Plena (W Sound 05)", which topped the Argentina Hot 100, reached the top ten on the Hot Latin Songs and Global Excl. U.S. charts, and earned a Latin Grammy nomination, while "5 Estrellas (W Sound 23)" with Myke Towers recently hit No. 1 on the Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts. Under the renewed agreement, W Sound plans to expand into the US, Mexico and Spain.
