Austin experimental ensemble Water Damage have announced their new studio album, Repair, and released its opening track, “Reel 45”. Due out in October, the record continues the group’s emphasis on extended, rhythmic and drone-based compositions, with the new single described as one of their fastest and noisiest recordings.

Repair contains four side-length tracks and features the core ten-member lineup alongside guests Wendy Eisenberg and Ricardo Dias Gomes. Eisenberg plays electric guitar throughout, while Dias Gomes contributes electronics on three tracks and bass on another; the album is released by 12XU on 23 October.
