Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy Storm Nashville on the Rolling Stone Rock Tour

Mannequin Pussy and Wednesday performed together in Nashville on the Rolling Stone Rock Tour, with North Carolina indie band Truth Club opening. The show brought two guitar bands with growing followings to a young crowd and illustrated the tour’s role in spotlighting contemporary rock acts.

Mannequin Pussy played songs including the protest track “Pigs is Pigs” and newer material as they work on their fifth album, following the 2024 release *I Got Heaven*. Wednesday performed nine songs from their 2025 album *Bleeds at the Truth* and covered Lucinda Williams’ “Lonely Girls”; guitarist Jake “Spyder” Pugh is touring in place of MJ Lenderman, who has focused on his solo career.
