Weezer gave a behind-the-scenes look at The Gathering Tour, explaining how the band developed its concept and what performing it is like. The tour’s open, audience-focused staging aims to make fans feel part of the experience.

The four members helped shape the tour, whose title had once been considered for the band’s “Gold Album”. An in-house director devised a story about a boy summoning the band to a gathering at the garage where it began. The feature also shows the VIP experience, instruments and memorabilia, and the members reflect on how fans respond to songs including “Say It Ain’t So” and “El Scorcho”.
