Weezer have released a music video for their new single "C.E.O.", which pays homage to the band's breakthrough 1994 hit "Undone (The Sweater Song)" both musically and visually. The song, which explores the pressure on veteran rock acts to recreate past glories, deliberately mirrors that earlier track's structure, while the video recreates elements of Spike Jonze's iconic original clip but with an array of celebrity cameos added in.

"C.E.O." is taken from Weezer's forthcoming self-titled album, dubbed their "Gold Album", produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume (formerly Kenny Beats), following earlier singles "Shine Again" and a collaboration with Wednesday. The video features comedians Rob Riggle and Huebel as executives pressuring the band, with director Curry Barker (known for the horror film Obsession) appearing on screen, though the clip was actually directed by Brendan Walter and Jasper Graham. Alongside the release, Weezer confirmed an extensive world tour, adding UK, European and Japanese dates with Taking Back Sunday to their previously announced North American arena run with the Shins and Silversun Pickups, including UK stops in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Cardiff in May.
