EA has confirmed that leaked footage of Motive’s Iron Man game is genuine, acknowledging the unauthorised release with a light-hearted statement and promising more information when it is ready. The leak offers the public its clearest look yet at a game announced in 2022, suggesting development remains active despite wider uncertainty around EA’s superhero projects and reported staffing cuts.

The roughly two-and-a-half-minute work-in-progress trailer shows Tony Stark flying through an apparent New York setting, fighting on the ground and in the air, and visiting a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier. It includes unfinished visuals, a range of weapons and melee attacks, and what appears to be suit customisation; its “Aug26 Test” label and placeholder release-window text indicate it is not a final marketing trailer. EA’s Black Panther game was cancelled last year, but the report says Iron Man currently appears unaffected.
