Marvel’s Comic-Con booth has displayed several costumes from Avengers: Doomsday, including a mysterious “Latverian Witch” outfit that has changed colour on successive days. The display has prompted speculation that Doctor Doom will have magical allies or lieutenants in the film, reinforcing the character’s comic-book association with both science and sorcery.

The witch costume appeared green on 22 July, yellow or orange on 23 July, and purple on 24 July, with differing accessories each time; at least three versions have been shown. Other costumes represent trailer-confirmed characters including Cyclops, Invisible Woman, Thor, Captain America, Yelena Belova and Gambit, while Marvel’s Hall H panel was expected to provide further clarification.
