In Grounded 2, players can find the pond jockey in Skunk Pond to unlock the harpoon gun, improving their options for underwater exploration and combat. The creature is not especially valuable on its own, but analysing its dropped meat grants access to the ranged underwater weapon.

Skunk Pond lies south-east of the Ice Cream Cart, with pond jockeys most reliably found in its eastern area, north of the fallen rubbish bin and west of the bridge. Players need at least a tier-two spear, should bring healing supplies and monitor their air, as the bright-green creature is accompanied by smaller attackers; it is weak to salt, and the amphibious toe biter buggy can also be used in the fight.
