World of Warcraft Forever World First Level 60 Character Hits Cap Three Days After Launch
Team JokerD became the first group to reach level 60 in World of Warcraft Forever, just three days after launch. The achievement stands out in a game designed to encourage exploration and steady levelling, and follows streamer JokerD’s earlier record as the first to reach level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic in 2019.
The team consisted of Undead characters and one Troll, using an updated Undead ability that restores mana to keep large groups of enemies moving quickly. The nearest competitor outside the team was still level 53 at the time of writing. The first raids, Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit and Onyxia’s Lair, are due to open on 9 December, while Blizzard has said levelling multiple characters is part of the game’s intended experience.
In short
- Team JokerD reached level 60 three days after launch.
- Its Undead characters used mana regeneration to speed up levelling.
- The first raids open on 9 December.
