WWE legend Ric Flair says he keeps getting asked how he’s still alive in wake of recent fall, eye injury
Ric Flair has addressed people asking how he is still alive after a recent fall in Tampa left him with facial injuries and an eye injury. The 77-year-old wrestling star said the fall seemed minor compared with the serious accidents and health crises he has survived over the years.
Flair said he had wrestled about 5,000 matches, including 2,400 one-hour draws and five 90-minute bouts, and recalled an airplane crash that left him in intensive care for 31 days and on life support for 14. His past health problems have also included a ruptured intestine, blood clots and a heart attack he said he suffered during his final match in 2022; he was hospitalised after the latest fall and later appeared wearing an eye patch.
