Wyoming mom reported missing after not picking up kids; sister, police search for answers

Fox News ·

Kandice Gunter, a 30-year-old mother of two in Wyoming, has been reported missing after she did not collect her children from an after-school programme. Her sister raised the alarm, saying the missed pick-up was out of character, and police are seeking information about her whereabouts.

Gunter was last seen on the morning of 29 October in Natrona County, and her phone was last located the following day near Highway 387. She was believed to be travelling in a grey 2016 GMC Canyon pickup with temporary Wyoming registration. Her sister said they had spoken on Wednesday morning and usually spoke several times a day; Gunter had moved from Nevada to Casper about a month earlier to be closer to her children.

Explained simply

Natrona County is in central Wyoming, and Casper is its largest city. Kandice Gunter had recently moved there from Nevada to be closer to her two children, who attend an after-school programme.

Her sister said they usually spoke several times a day, so the missed pick-up prompted concern. Police are asking people with information about Gunter or the grey pickup she was believed to be travelling in to contact them.
