Xbox cloud gaming prices revealed, with 50 hours of ad-free game-time priced $11.99

Eurogamer ·

Microsoft has set an introductory price of $11.99 for 50 hours of Xbox cloud gaming, with the paid service offering ad-free streaming. Xbox Insiders can use it from today without an active Game Pass subscription, ahead of a planned November rollout to all Xbox players.

Paid users may still face queues at busy times, although Microsoft says waits will be shorter. The service also has monthly play limits, which Microsoft says will affect only a fraction of players; cloud gaming carries server, computing and network costs.

In short

  • 50 hours of cloud gaming costs $11.99 at the introductory price.
  • Xbox Insiders can stream without a Game Pass subscription.
  • Queues and monthly time limits will still apply.
