Microsoft’s compact Xbox Nano feels comfortable during longer gaming sessions
Microsoft’s Xbox Nano is a pocket-sized wireless controller designed for children and people with smaller hands. A hands-on review found it surprisingly comfortable over longer gaming sessions, though its compact size may not suit everyone.
At just over 5 inches long and 101 grams, it has smaller buttons, sticks and triggers, while retaining the standard D-pad and Xbox button. Its battery appeared to lose about 10 per cent charge in 30 to 40 minutes, but it charges quickly over USB-C and can be used while charging; it lacks vibration support. The controller launches on 4 November for $49.99.
In short
- Xbox Nano is just over 5 inches long and weighs 101 grams.
- Its grips help make the compact controller comfortable to use.
- It launches for $49.99 but has no vibration support.
