Paramount has released the final trailer for By Any Means, a true-crime thriller starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Mark Wahlberg. The film is due to open in cinemas on 4 September, marking Abdul-Mateen II’s next major screen role after a busy year in television.

The cast also includes Nicole Beharie, Josh Lucas, LisaGay Hamilton, LaChanze, Ethan Embry, David Strathairn and Giancarlo Esposito. Sashca Penn wrote the screenplay and Elegance Bratton directed the film; Bratton previously directed 2022 drama The Inspection.
