Prosecutors allege that Durk sought retaliation against rapper Quando Rondo after King Von’s 2020 killing, leading to a 2022 Los Angeles shooting in which Rondo’s friend Lul Pab was killed. Arrested near Miami International Airport in October 2024, Durk denies the accusations and faces murder-for-hire, conspiracy and stalking charges; a conviction could bring a life sentence, and the trial is expected to last several weeks.
