GTA VI restricts theft of some parked cars
Grand Theft Auto VI will make vehicle theft more varied by restricting access to some parked cars until players progress through the story and obtain the necessary tools. Rockstar says the change is intended to add progression and decision-making, making the cars players use and the way they acquire them more meaningful, while drivers can still always be carjacked.
Different vehicles may require different methods, such as cloning an electronic key fob or maintaining a particular speed to avoid GPS-based detection. An in-game app will reportedly show what is needed to steal a car and its value; meanwhile, Rockstar is also dealing with continuing leaks from an unidentified source ahead of the game’s trailer release.
