Billboard · 2 hours ago

Zac Brown Band surprised the audience at their Fenway Park concert in Boston on 2 August 2026 by gifting every attendee a free cruise vacation, in what organisers describe as the largest single audience giveaway in live entertainment history. Frontman Zac Brown made the announcement on stage before performing "Same Boat", telling the crowd he was buying each of them a cruise for two, calling it "the biggest giveaway in history".

More than 37,000 fans in attendance each received a cruise for two aboard Margaritaville at Sea, with the total gift valued at over $40 million (£31 million). Margaritaville at Sea's chief executive, Christopher Ivy, said the company was proud to help realise the surprise as a thank-you to Brown's fans. The gesture is part of a wider pattern on the band's 27-date Love & Fear tour, during which four fans per show are separately awarded cruises aboard the Beachcomber, a new vessel launching in January 2027 that will host the Same Boat music venue named in tribute to Brown's late collaborator Jimmy Buffett.
