‘Kingdom Hearts 4’ Sets Official Release Window
Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be released in 2027, ending years of uncertainty over the next mainline entry in the series. The announcement matters because it establishes a long-awaited timeframe for Sora’s next adventure and reveals the first confirmed Disney/Pixar world, based on Coco.
The game is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Xbox on PC, Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will launch five years after its 2022 announcement and eight years after Kingdom Hearts 3, beginning the franchise’s Lost Master Arc; an exact release date has not yet been given.
