Joel Kinnaman is enjoying a surge in popularity across streaming platforms, with his 2024 action thriller *The Silent Hour* now finding a wider audience on Hulu after a limited theatrical run. Despite grossing under $500,000 at the global box office, the film is being newly discovered by viewers, adding to a string of successes for Kinnaman this year including the Netflix detective drama *Detective Hole* and the Prime Video hit *Icefall*. This wave of visibility comes as Kinnaman is also set to headline Prime Video's upcoming detective series *Bishop*, positioned as a successor to *Bosch*.

*The Silent Hour* has been likened to a mash-up of *John Wick* and *A Quiet Place*, combining high-calibre action sequences with a story centred on a detective with hearing loss and a deaf witness. The cast also includes Sandra Mae Frank, Mekhi Phifer and Mark Strong. It is currently available to stream on Hulu for all subscribers, alongside Kinnaman's other recent titles, *Detective Hole* (Netflix) and *Icefall* (Prime Video).
