USA Network has released the first official trailer for Season 2 of The Rainmaker, a legal drama widely regarded as television's closest equivalent to Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer. The announcement confirms the show's return after a gap of over a year since its first season concluded, giving fans of the courtroom drama genre a concrete date to anticipate.

The Rainmaker's debut season premiered in August last year and ran for ten episodes before USA Network renewed it for a second run. Updates on the follow-up season had been sparse until the trailer's surprise release, which also revealed that Season 2 will premiere on 16 October.
