Polygon · 1 day ago

Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment are bringing The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power to physical media for the first time, with seasons one and two arriving on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD in November 2026. The release lands just days before the show's third season begins streaming on Prime Video, giving fans a way to revisit earlier instalments before the story continues, and reflecting the series' status as one of Prime Video's biggest hits, having drawn more than 185 million viewers since it launched in September 2022.

Individual season sets, including behind-the-scenes bonus content, go on sale on 3 November, followed in December by Amazon-exclusive 4K Steelbook gift sets with collectible art cards, due 1 December. Season three itself premieres on Prime Video on 11 November, with episodes rolling out through to 25 November, and will explore Sauron's recruitment of the men who become the Nazgûl, Elrond's relationship with his twin brother Elros (both played by Robert Aramayo), and the show's first look at Rivendell.
