Prince William and Prince George cut frustrated figures in the directors’ box as they watch their beloved Aston Villa lose 3-0 to Barcelona on rain-soaked night in Spain

Prince William and Prince George watched Aston Villa lose 3-0 to Barcelona in the Champions League at the newly renovated Camp Nou. The defeat ended Villa’s perfect start in the league phase, after they had won their first two matches.

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal scored in the seventh minute after a defensive error, and Raphinha added two goals in the second half. William has supported Villa since his schooldays and regularly follows the club at home and abroad; he had watched them beat Fenerbahce 6-0 in Istanbul the previous week.
