‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Title Revealed (Gaming News Roundup)
Bethesda has revealed that *The Elder Scrolls 6* will be subtitled *Sentinel*, unveiling its logo in a video message from director Todd Howard during the series’ 40th anniversary. The game follows 2011’s *Skyrim* and takes its name from a city in Hammerfell, offering a clue to its setting and renewing attention on a long-awaited sequel.
The game was announced in 2018 and entered active production in 2023, after *Starfield*. Howard said in 2021 that he expected it could arrive 15 to 17 years after *Skyrim*, so players may still be waiting several years. The roundup also covers *Ocarina of Time* arriving on Switch 2, *World of Warcraft: Forever*, *GTA 6* pre-loading, HoYoverse’s *Petit Planet* and the *Borderlands* franchise passing 100 million units sold.
In short
- *The Elder Scrolls 6* is subtitled *Sentinel*.
- Its name points to the city of Sentinel in Hammerfell.
- The game may still be several years from release.
